Phantomas Adventures: Goldter Mansion es una reconstrucción del videojuego de Dinamic  Phantomas 1, juego al que jugamos muchísimo de niños.

Nuestra idea es poder ofrecer la misma experiencia que el juego original usando la paleta de colores  EGA y aprovechando las pantallas panorámicas.

Manual 

Phantomas viene de muy lejos, de la galaxia Andrómeda, se le programó exclusivamente para robar y saquear. En la piel de Phantomas tu reto es encontrar un tesoro escondido en la mansión de un millonario. Pulsa todos los interruptores para poder abrir la caja fuerte, después evita las trampas, enemigos y las cosas extrañas encerradas en las criptas para obtener el cofre del tesoro y corre a la salida... ¡¡¡BUENA SUERTE!!!  

Controles

• Salto alto: Q o W / cursor arriba, botón joystick 1, botón joystick 3.
• Salto largo: A o S / cursor abajo, botón joystick 2, botón joystick 4.
• Izquierda: O o A / cursor izquierda.
• Derecha: P o D / cursor derecha.

General:

• Seleccionar: Espacio, Intro
• Cancelar, mostrar / ocultar menú: Escape.

Consejos:

• Phantomas tiene 2 tipos de salto, alto y largo, cada uno puede ser mas útil para sortear según que obstáculo, usa el que más se adecúe a las necesidades del momento.
• Debido a la dificultad que mucha gente ha experimentado con el salto clásico, hemos introducido un modo de salto nuevo ("millennial") que cambia el comportamiento del salto, pero usarlo conlleva una penalización severa. Puedes activar esta opción en el menú Opciones > Controles > Salto clásico (on / off).
• Hay una nueva opción en Opciones > Controles > Salto continuo (on / off). Si la desactivas, no podrás mantener pulsado el botón de salto para saltar justo al tocar el suelo; tendrás que pulsarlo explícitamente cada vez.
• Phantomas no caerá hasta que esté completamente en el vacío,  de esa manera puedes ajustar más los saltos para salvar obstáculos.
• Deshabilita los shader chromatic aberration y scanlines en caso de que el juego no vaya a una velocidad adecuada o de tirones, especialmente si juegas desde un navegador.

About This Project

Phantomas Adventures: Goldter Mansion is a remake of Dinamic's videogame Phantomas 1, a game we played endlessly as kids.

Our goal is to offer the same experience as the original game using the EGA color palette and taking advantage of widescreen displays.

Manual

Phantomas comes from far away, from the Andromeda galaxy. He was programmed exclusively to steal and plunder. Taking on the role of Phantomas, your challenge is to find a hidden treasure in a millionaire’s mansion. Press all the switches to open the safe, then avoid traps, enemies, and the strange creatures locked away in the crypts to obtain the treasure chest—and run to the exit... GOOD LUCK!!!

Controls

• High Jump: Q or W / Up Arrow, Joystick Button 1, Joystick Button 3.
• Long Jump: A or S / Down Arrow, Joystick Button 2, Joystick Button 4.
• Left: O or A / Left Arrow.
• Right: P or D / Right Arrow.

General Controls

Tips

• Phantomas has two types of jumps: high and long. Each one is more useful depending on the obstacle, so use the one that best suits the situation.
• Due to the difficulty many people have experienced with the classic jump, we have introduced a new jump mode ("millennial") that changes the jumping behavior, but using it comes with a severe penalty. You can enable this option in the menu: Options > Controls > Classic Jump (on / off).
• There is a new option in Options > Controls > Continuous Jump (on / off). If you disable it, holding the jump button will no longer trigger a jump as soon as you touch the ground, and you will need to press the button explicitly each time.
• Phantomas won't fall until he is completely in the air, allowing you to fine-tune jumps to clear obstacles more precisely.
• Disable the chromatic aberration and scanlines shaders if the game is not running smoothly or has stuttering issues, especially when playing in a browser.
